I feel honoured and privileged to announce the launch of a new research initiative in the form of a research journal titled as: ‘Navajyoti’ – a multi disciplinary online journal to mark the 50 glorious years of academic excellence of Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous.

This is a venture to promote an intellectual culture in its purest form. This, we hope will serve as a platform to promote research and provide reading materials for the upcoming research scholars as well teachers through communications between the academia, researchers and the students.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Editorial Board for their efforts in ensuring that a high quality journal is delivered and deeply appreciate the support of all the authors, reviewers, and editors. In the first issue, we are pleased to publish 9 research papers from a variety of disciplines. We hope to gallop on in the coming issues….
